Vogel’s 70-piece videowall displays microbes for Dutch museum

Vogel’s Professional has supplied 70 pop-out modules for a video wall displaying microorganisms at the Artis Micropia in Amsterdam.

Vogel’s Professional has supplied 70 pop-out modules for a videowall displaying microorganisms at the Artis Micropia in Amsterdam. The Micropia is a new museum opened by her Majesty Queen Maxima on 30 September 2014.

The giant videowall spans nearly two storeys at the museum.

Microorganisms are too small to be seen by the naked eye; the museum is the first in the world to make them visible to the general public using a giant videowall.

The scale of the installation spans two stories using 70 pieces of Vogel’s PFW 6870 videowall pop-out modules along with professional displays from Philips Signage Solutions (MMD).
