Tripleplay digital signage selected for UN COP21 climate change summit

Tripleplay’s TripleSign digital signage was selected as the communications medium of choice by the organisers of the United Nations COP21 climate change summit in Paris.

More than 90,000 visitors attended the ‘Generation Climate’ area of COP21, where 24 endpoints of Tripleplay digital signage were installed by Imago ScanSource and FABRE Pascal Company, to inform the public, in real time, of conferences and events taking place.

FABRE Pascal Company has specialised in broadcast solutions and IPTV for over 15 years, and was awarded the contract by the French Ministry’s AV contractor.

Tripleplay supported FABRE Pascal Company in the implementation, and its digital signage was utilised for the duration of the conference from 30 November to 11 December.

The COP21 summit also incorporated the Sustainable Innovation Forum, hosted at the Stade de France, which saw tens of thousands of delegates attend including leaders from over 190 nations, and utilised another Tripleplay digital signage and IPTV solution.

Tripleplay MD for Europe, Carlos Amoros commented: “Being chosen to play a part in such a huge global event is fantastic for Tripleplay, showing our brand strength, cost effectiveness and quality.

“We are delighted also to be working with such a fantastic partner on the project, FABRE’s expertise has been hugely valuable to us throughout this project.”
