Polycom appoints Carter EMEA channel partners VP

Polycom has appointed Keith Carter to the role of vice president, channel partners in EMEA. Carter, who will be located at Polycom’s UK office in Slough, will be responsible for developing and implementing the channel strategy and partner programme across the region.

Polycom has appointed Keith Carter to the role of vice president, channel partners in EMEA. Carter, who will be located at Polycom’s UK office in Slough, will be responsible for developing and implementing the channel strategy and partner programme across the region.

“With Polycom’s indirect go-to-market approach, successful channel partners are essential for the success of our business. We need to be able to operate consistently with our global partners in EMEA, but also locally with our regional channel partners in terms of channel strategy and programmes,” said Mike Swade, president EMEA at Polycom. “I am delighted that a recognised expert like Keith Carter is joining the EMEA leadership team to drive what is deemed to be absolutely crucial.”

Carter is a long-standing industry veteran in the networking and communications industry. Before joining Polycom, he was responsible for consultancy services and integration global business development at Orange Business Services. Previously, he headed up the European alliances division at Dimension Data and Datacraft in Asia, and has held various other leadership positions around the world including strategic alliance manager for Cisco Systems in the Asia-Pacific region and IBM in EMEA.
