Panasonic has launched the new PT-EZ580 Series of LCD projectors, which comprises five models ranging from 5,000 to 6,200 lumens.
The series shares features found on the company’s EZ770 Series of projectors, including DIGITAL LINK single cable solution, as well as a common lens platform and a low maintenance ECO filter. The PT-EZ580 series is said to deliver bright, flexible, and economical projection to mid-sized classrooms and corporate boardrooms.
The five models include: the PT-EZ580 (WUXGA, 5,400 lumens), PT-EW640 (WXGA, 5800 lumens), PT-EX610 (XGA, 6,200 lumens), PT-EW540 (WXGA, 5,000 lumens) and PT-EX510 (XGA, 5,300 lumens), the projectors have been designed with quiet operation in mind, to avoid any disturbing noise in lectures and meetings. WUXGA resolution and 5,000:1 high contrast ratio give the PT-EZ580 high picture quality.
The projectors also offer 4,500 hours of operation in eco-mode and an Eco-filter with a cleaning interval of up to 17,000 hours. An intelligent lamp control system manages the amount of power drawn to the lamp depending on the projected image, ultimately decreasing the power consumption of the projector.
The PT-EZ580, EW640, EX610 are equipped with DIGITAL LINK, which allows transmission of video, audio and control commands via a single LAN cable. Fine adjustment of the image, such as lens shift, zoom, focus, Horizontal/Vertical and corner keystone correction, can all be done remotely using the projector remote control.
