Riedel forms strategic partnership for US motorsport market

Communications technology company teams with motorsport equipment provider Racing Electronics to deliver intercom and radio systems

Riedel Communications has formed a strategic partnership with Racing Electronics, a provider of motorsport communication equipment, to deliver communication solutions for the motorsport industry in the US.

The collaboration brings together Riedel Communications’ intercom technologies, including its Artist-1024 infrastructures and Bolero wireless intercom system, with Racing Electronics’ radio communications experience and US market-specific communication accessories.

Riedel will open North America Motorsport Competence Centres in Racing Electronics’ facilities, building staff and equipment resources to support US and visiting racing events. The companies say the collaboration will offer support services including turnkey solutions, trackside rentals, custom ear moulds and helmet kits.

Both companies plan to create a Motorsport Remote Operations Centre in Concord, North Carolina, which is designed to enable remote workflows and reduce the carbon footprint of operations.
