Riedel Communications has appointed Marc Engroff as chief financial officer, while Frank Eischet transitions from CFO to chief operating officer of the Riedel Group, with greater focus on group-level strategy and cross-functional alignment.

Engroff, who joined Riedel in 2024 as director of group controlling, assumes responsibility for finance, controlling, M&A, global purchasing and IT. Prior to joining Riedel, he held several finance leadership roles at Deutsche Telekom AG. Eischet, who joined Riedel in 2011 as CFO and managing director, will continue to serve as managing director of Riedel Communications alongside Thomas Riedel.
The restructure comes amid what the company describes as dynamic developments across the broader Riedel environment, including Thomas Riedel’s recent acquisition of ARRI, the Munich-based camera and lighting technology manufacturer.
Thomas Riedel, CEO and founder of Riedel Communications, said: “Frank has been instrumental in building the structures that have enabled Riedel’s growth over the years. With Marc, we are appointing a highly capable and trusted leader from our own ranks who combines strong financial expertise with a proven ability to translate data into strategic direction.”
Engroff added: “I am excited to continue shaping Riedel’s development while ensuring we support its growth in a sustainable and resilient way.”
During Eischet’s tenure as CFO, Riedel is said to have grown from revenues below €50m to more than €250m, alongside significant international expansion. Riedel currently employs over 1,000 people across 30 locations in Europe, Australia, Asia and the Americas.
