Fohhn presents ‘new look’ loudspeaker integration at ISE 2016

At ISE next month, Fohhn Audio will present the company’s latest developments in system integration and its new design options in line source loudspeakers.

Fohhn will bring an audio network compatibility focus showcasing current models from its Linea-Focus series with beam steering capabilities, which are equipped for networking via an Optocore fibre solution.

Focus-Series loudspeakers have been given a ‘new look’, with Fohhn’s proprietary printing technology enabling photorealistic finishes including wood, marble, and sandstone to offer architects more system integration possibilities. The series is suited for use within a sound reinforcement system in an architectural setting due to its bespoke aesthetics and beam steering capabilities.

A new 16-channel Dante to AES/EBU interface will also be previewed at the show. In readiness for achieving future compatibility with all digital audio networks, the company has also announced that, going forward, all its active loudspeaker systems, amplifiers and controllers will be equipped with digital transformer-balanced AES/EBU inputs (AES-3 standard). This can already be seen on the first model in Fohhn’s next-generation series of high-performance digital amplifiers, equipped with AES/EBU inputs and integrated digital signal processors. The new amplifier offers a power capability of 2 x 2000W / 4Ohm.

Fohhn’s Linea LEN systems, which form part of the Voice Alarm series, will also be on show. The passive 100V, EN54-24 Type B certified loudspeaker systems have a weatherproof housing, and are designed for use with voice alarm systems.
