SNA Displays creating US West Coast’s largest curved DOOH display

Located in sports and entertainment zone of downtown Los Angeles, upgraded Circa Digital Spectacular video display – situated across two high-rise towers – will feature 20,000sqft of curved LED surface with 28.7m pixels when completed

SNA Displays is creating the largest curved digital out-of-home (DOOH) display on the US West Coast, part of a major overhaul of its Circa Digital Spectacular installation. The massive curved LED video display wraps around the Circa LA towers, a pair of luxury high-rise buildings in downtown Los Angeles opposite the Crypto.com Arena and the L.A. Live sports and entertainment complex. The redevelopment will transform the existing three‑panel system into one continuous LED canvas, increasing both its scale and visual impact.

The new screen will span 330ft, feature around 20,000sqft of LED surface, and carry 55 percent more pixels than its predecessor. SNA Displays says the concave and convex curves will be designed to integrate with the architecture. Its tighter 8mm pixel pitch is designed to improve visual clarity, especially for close-range viewing. The new digital spectacular is slated to debut in January 2026.

Whereas the original configuration comprised three separate screens on the corner of S. Figueroa and W. 12th streets, the new design consolidates them into a single, seamless display measuring 12,580 × 2,280 pixels. The result will be approximately 28.7m pixels in total.

The property at Circa LA along with the reimagined LED spectacular is owned by a partnership of investors and developers including Hankey Investment Company and Jamison Services. Out-of-home media specialists BIG Outdoor will operate the media destination.

Bill Tagliaferri, president of BIG Outdoor, said: “This incredible display offers brands a one-of-a-kind platform in the epicentre of the city’s sports and entertainment scene. Circa will be the most impactful digital display in Downtown Los Angeles, perfectly positioned to capture the world’s attention during marquee moments like the FIFA World Cup in 2026, the Super Bowl in 2027 and the LA Olympics in 2028.”

Scott Dobbins, from Hankey Investment Company, added: “We are very pleased to be working with our team of SNA Displays and BIG Outdoor to create an even bigger and better experience in downtown Los Angeles at Circa.”

The original installation used Christie Terra systems for switching and signal extension over 10G Ethernet, built on SDVoE architecture, to support 4K content at zero-frame latency. While SNA has not confirmed whether the new build will reuse Terra or adopt an updated architecture, the precedent suggests that an AVoIP backbone will remain at its core.

Demolition and installation work is being handled by P.S. Services under the oversight of Rasool Sayed, project director for SNA Displays, who also led the original Circa install.
