Residential technology manufacturer Control4 is launching fully HDCP 2.2 compliant 4K UHD audio and video matrix switches. Available to order immediately, the new line can distribute 4K content, including copy-protected content, to every room within a Control4 smart home without the need for additional hardware or software.

Three different models – 10×10, 8×8 and 6×6 – are available for projects of various scales, distributing 4K Ultra HD video content and high-fidelity audio to up to 10 TVs in the house, from 10 separate sources. An integrated audio matrix switch extracts stereo audio from the HDMI inputs and delivers audio to up to eight zones throughout the home. Advanced device management is said to give faster and more responsive switching between sources.
An unobtrusive ultra-compact receiver eliminates the need for extra equipment or wiring, reducing costs and installation time. Powered via a single cable, this compact receiver does not require a separate power supply.
