Lightware UK has opened a new showroom and office in London, marking the occasion with a launch event for partners, customers and industry professionals.
The space, located at The Print Rooms on Union Street in Southwark, is designed as a hands-on environment for product demonstration, integrator training and end-user experience. Its open-plan layout is intended to accommodate groups of varying sizes and adapt to different uses.
Craig Storey, CEO of Lightware UK, said: “The new showroom gives us the perfect platform to demonstrate our signal management solutions. This real-world environment allows us to showcase how our technologies can support a wide range of applications, from meeting rooms and control rooms to universities and live productions.”
Products on display include the Taurus UCX, a universal matrix switcher designed for content sharing and host switching via HDMI and USB-C connectivity; the Taurus TPN, an SDVoE-based AVoIP platform built for larger environments with uncompressed video transmission over 10G networks; and the Gemini GVN AVoIP family, designed for 1G network infrastructures with centralised system management and built-in Dante audio support. The latest Gemini models are designed to deliver media, data and up to 100W charging over a single USB-C connection.
Integrations on show included Lightware’s Cisco and Google Meet compatibility, demonstrating hybrid collaboration workflows using the Taurus UCX.
Siegfried Hermann, president of Lightware EMEA, added: “The new location provides greater space and flexibility than our previous office. Its open-plan design allows us to host groups of all sizes and quickly adapt for different uses.”
Gergely Vida, CEO of Lightware, said: “This space reflects the work of our engineers in Budapest and allows us to better support our partners, grow our presence in the UK, and continue developing solutions that meet customer needs.”
