Leyard Europe has expanded its UK and Ireland team through new appointments and wider leadership roles, as the company says it sees growing demand for LED display solutions across corporate, retail, education, control room, hospitality, broadcast and public sector environments.
The investment follows the opening of the Leyard and Planar UK Showroom and VIP Lounge at 11 Cursitor Street, London, where customers, consultants, integrators and end users can see the latest display technologies and work on projects. The company also points to its manufacturing facility in Prešov, Slovakia, as part of its European supply chain.
Guy Phelps has joined as territory head for the UK and Ireland, responsible for business development, customer retention and strategic sales, as well as supporting customers and consultants with specification, design and installation. He has more than 15 years’ experience in the professional display industry, with previous senior sales roles at Sharp NEC Display Solutions Europe, NEC Display Solutions Europe and Panasonic. Matt Stone, based in Dublin, becomes regional sales manager for Ireland, Northern England and Scotland, having previously worked for Lightware Visual Engineering, Haivision and Kinly.
Lee Baxter has taken on an expanded role as director of channel for the UK and Ireland, with a focus on developing a new partner programme. Luke Marler-Hausen becomes director of strategic projects and business development, concentrating on complex, bespoke LED projects and architecturally challenging installations.
On the marketing and sales side, UK-based Esther Rowe joins as marketing manager, with responsibility for the company’s marketing strategy across Europe. Catherine Bartrum joined in the second quarter as inside sales executive, supporting customers and partners across the UK and Ireland.
