Biamp has launched the AMP-A460H four-channel power amplifier to address the sound needs of small to medium-sized conference and meeting spaces and allow integrators to customise the amplification in rooms using the TesiraFORTÉ audio processing platform.

Now integrators can choose Biamp quality for powering speakers in meeting spaces of varying sizes.”
The AMP-A460H analogue amplifier features four channels of audio output — 60W per channel at 8 ohms. Bridged in pairs, it can provide 120W at 8 ohm or 120W with constant voltage (70V/100V) direct drive. With a compact half-rack design, it includes a mounting kit to fit easily into any standard rack. It also features a balanced analogue line in, allowing easy and simple integration with any of the eight TesiraFORTÉ models. To improve energy efficiency, the amplifier automatically powers down after 25 minutes with no audio signal. With fan-less operation and simple, software-free installation, the AMP-A460H can be used in any conferencing, telephony, or VoIP environment needing minimal sound distribution.
