Contacta Systems, UK leaders in assistive listening technology, are continuing to build their presence in Scandinavia with a new distribution deal in Sweden.
The deal sees the Kent-based company forming a new partnership with Special Elektronik, a leading distributor of AV technology, lighting, cable TV and fibre technology.
With state-of-the-art headquarters in Karlstad, Special Elektronik will also retail Contacta’s hearing loops, IR and RF systems from its regional sales offices in Stockholm, Gothenburg, Malmö, Halmstad and Umeå.
“We are seeing a growing demand in our market for assistive listening solutions and were looking to have our own exclusive brand,” explained Special Elektronik’s CEO, Ake Larsson. “Contacta products and support tools combine quality and performance, which is what our customers expect from us. Having a complete portfolio of technologies is a real benefit and we hope for a long-term successful partnership with Contacta.”
Contacta has an established distribution network in Europe. Head of new business development, Ran Meyrav, added: “We are very excited about the new partnership with Special Elektronik.
