Users watch four shows at once with AVPro Edge solution

The AC-MV-41 provides customised tile configurations that allow users to enjoy up to four programmes simultaneously on one screen

AVPro Edge has introduced the AC-MV-41 four input HDMI Multi-Viewer, providing integrators with a tiling solution for delivering up to four  HDMI 2.0 video sources simultaneously on any size monitor, television, or projector.

The AC-MV-41 provides customised tile configurations with recallable presets, such as a primary picture with a “keep tabs” box in the corner, a quad-view with four equally sized windows, or custom layouts featuring window tiling arrays. It is HDMI 2.0 compliant, with HDCP 2.3, for all four inputs and the solo HDMI output.

Sources may include SD, HD, and Ultra HD up to 4K/60 fps and they can be safely combined into a single image for playback on the dedicated display. AVPro Edge’s EDID management eliminates interface challenges, the company says.

“With flat panels now well over 100 inches in size and laser projectors significantly larger than that, the AC-MV-41 enables users to enjoy up to four programmes simultaneously with outstanding clarity and detail,” said Matt Murray, CTO, AVPro Edge.

“The AC-MV-41 has been engineered and manufactured with great precision, benefiting from the build quality and performance that integrators have come to expect from AVPro Edge,” he added.

The AVPro Edge AC-MV-41 can be used as a standalone solution, or as part of a smart ecosystem, with input switching controlled by most popular third-party control platforms. Each input on the AC-MV-41 features an HDMI loop-out to provide creative expansion capabilities with additional units or to pass source signals through for broader distribution, through a solution such as an AVPro Edge MXnet ecosystem.

The AC-MV-41 is designed to be equally well-suited for high-resolution commercial projects, such as security, factory robotics monitoring, or other applications that demand high image fidelity. IP and RS-232 commands from control systems are processed through the LAN and RS-232 ports, with Control 4 and Crestron drivers available for immediate use.
