Kramer releases new range of USB-C cables

C-U32/MFF USB 3.2 Gen 2 SuperSpeed+ passive cables feature a labelling system that allows integrators and end-users to ensure they have made the right choice

Kramer has announced a new range of labeled USB-C cables to streamline pro AV system installation and maintenance for integrators and end-users. Designed for integrators and end users, Kramer’s introduction of new 3.2 Gen 2 USB-C cables feature icons that indicate their ability to support video, data and charging.

With the new C-U32/MFF USB 3.2 Gen 2 SuperSpeed+ passive cables, the cables provide bi-directional plug-and-play connectivity for the delivery of 4K@60 4:4:4 video, fast data transfer between PC, Mac and mobile compatible devices and monitors, web cameras, printers, scanners, keyboards and other devices.

The new range, featuring Kramer’s K-Lock connectivity, boasts transfer rates of up to 10Gbps (between USB 3.2 hosts and devices), as well as rapid 100W power (5A, 20V) charging.

Kramer’s K-lock connectors offer up to 5 pounds of pull resistance against being accidentally disconnected. The cables are made of micro coaxial wires with triple shielding to help prevent electromagnetic interference and ensure reliable data communications.

Brooke Ellingworh, VP sales, Kramer EMEA, said: “Here at Kramer, are always looking to improve efficiency with intuitive, user-friendly product design. This latest USB-C icon labelling system allows both integrators and end-users to see, at a glance, that they have the right cable to deliver the required data, video and charging – safe in the knowledge that the connectivity is secure from cable strain mishaps.”

The Kramer cables feature USB backward compatibility (1.0, 1.1, 2.0 and 3.0), are RoHS REACH compliant and are available in lengths of 6, 10 and 15ft, or 1.8, 3 and 4.6m, respectively.

Available now, Kramer’s USB-C 3.2 cables are in stock for immediate shipment.
