Ashton Bentley by Kramer launches USB-C focused X-Range

Modular family of USB-C enabled AV connectivity solutions is intended to bring advanced connectivity and seamless collaboration capabilities to almost any environment

Ashton Bentley, the Kramer-owned innovator of advanced integrated meeting room technology, has announced the X-Range modular family of USB-C enabled AV connectivity solutions.

The X-Range is intended to bring advanced connectivity and seamless collaboration capabilities to almost any environment – from small meeting rooms to large lecture theatres – and is designed to simplify and standardise hybrid collaboration across modern workspaces.

“The X-Range is designed to make AV infrastructure smarter, not harder,” said Tony Leedham, CCO, Ashton Bentley. “It’s about enterprise-grade performance, seamless user experience, and less work for AV/IT teams.”

The X-Range portfolio includes multiple kits to support diverse room types — from huddle spaces to boardrooms — while maintaining fast installation, uncompressed 4K60 video, and remote or in-room device control. X-Range products are fully compatible with both Mac and Windows without the need for drivers or additional software. Installation is said to be straightforward, with smart web-based configuration and out-of-the-box functionality — reducing deployment timescales and minimising AV/IT support.

“We’ve engineered the X-Range to help organisations deploy consistent, high-performing AV across every space — affordably and at scale,” said Roger McArdell, CTO at Ashton Bentley. “It’s AV that works. No drivers. No delays. No drama. The X-Range reflects our shared vision to deliver intuitive, reliable, and future-ready meeting spaces. This allows us to deliver AV infrastructure that simply works, straight out of the box — without fuss, and without compromise.”
