Epson has launched its LifeStudio Series of smart mini projectors in Australia, combining large-screen 4K PRO-UHD projection with integrated smart features and audio. The range comprises the LifeStudio Pop (EF-62B) and flagship LifeStudio Flex (EF-73), both capable of producing images up to 150in.
The compact LifeStudio Pop uses Epson’s Triple Core Engine and 3LCD technology to deliver 700 lumens of white and colour brightness. Automatic focus, keystone correction, screen fit, obstacle avoidance and wall colour adjustment are designed to simplify setup, while built-in Google TV and Sound by Bose provide streaming and audio without additional devices.
The LifeStudio Flex increases brightness to 1,000 lumens and adds a built-in gimbal, ambient lighting and an integrated wireless charging pad. It also features 4K PRO-UHD projection, Google TV, Sound by Bose and Epson’s automatic image adjustment features, positioning the model as a more permanent entertainment centrepiece for the home.
Both projectors use Epson’s 3LCD technology alongside 4K PRO-UHD enhancement and HDR support. Epson says the technology delivers equal white and colour brightness, while the combination of image processing and large image sizes is intended to provide a more cinematic viewing experience for films, sport, gaming and streaming without requiring a dedicated home cinema room.
The LifeStudio Pop and LifeStudio Flex will be available through authorised Epson retailers across Australia from September 2026. The launch represents an expansion of Epson’s lifestyle projection portfolio, with the company targeting consumers looking for portable, integrated large-screen entertainment that combines projection, smart functionality and audio.
