Epson has launched its first all-in-one dvLED displays, the LE-C1 Series, now available. Powered by chip-on-board (COB) technology, the series is designed to deliver bright, high-contrast images even in high ambient light environments, with the all-in-one format aimed at simplifying installation, setup and day-to-day operation. The range includes the LE-C1135 135in and LE-C1162 162in Full HD 1080p models, alongside the LE-C14K135 135in 4K model for close-range viewing.
The LE-C1 Series features an operating system-free design intended to reduce maintenance requirements and potential security vulnerabilities. Factory-calibrated LED modules, preassembled cabinet columns and a preconfigured controller are designed to simplify installation and provide a uniform image. Epson says the COB technology and common cathode design reduce power consumption and heat output compared with conventional SMD dvLED displays, allowing the 135in display to operate from a single 120V 15A power source.
Ramzi Shakra, senior product manager at Epson America, said: “The response to Epson’s first dvLED solutions has been incredibly positive, with customers especially drawn to the image quality enabled by COB technology, as well as the edge-to-edge display design and ease of integration. Organisations are looking for display solutions that are easy to deploy, simple to manage, and backed by a trusted technology partner.”
The displays offer flexible connectivity, including dual HDMI ports, optical S/PDIF, 3.5mm audio, Bluetooth remote and LAN control, aimed at integration across a range of pro AV environments.
