Axion Displays introduces Radar AV monitoring platform

New web-based platform offers real-time equipment monitoring, anomaly detection and automated alerts to help integrators reduce downtime and improve system reliability

Axion Displays has introduced Radar, a new AV monitoring and maintenance platform designed to help system integrators and end users identify potential equipment problems before they result in costly downtime.

Developed in-house, Radar collects and analyses operational data including temperature, fan speed, power consumption and device status, alongside environmental conditions. By establishing normal operating parameters, the platform can detect anomalies and trigger automated alerts or protective actions when potential faults are identified.

Radar supports equipment from multiple manufacturers, including existing installations, using standard communication protocols and custom device profiles. The web-based platform also provides access to warranty information, firmware details and maintenance logs, enabling integrators to offer proactive maintenance and ongoing monitoring services.

Roderick Bokdam, Marketing at Axion Displays, commented: “With Radar, we wanted to move beyond simply reacting when equipment fails. By giving system integrators and end users greater insight into how their equipment is performing, we can help them identify potential problems earlier, automate routine tasks and keep their systems running reliably.”

Radar is currently being introduced through a limited pilot programme, with selected customers invited to trial the platform ahead of wider commercial availability.
