Spotlight Sound, a British event production and AV installation company based in Chelmsford, has made two new appointments. Aurora Harrington joins Spotlight Sound as a service & installation coordinator. She comes from a facilities background having worked for Stonegate. And Tom Anstey joins as warehouse and events assistant. He has over 10 years of experience in warehousing and stock control and brings a wealth of experience from other industries.

Founded in 2009, Spotlight Sound has seen steady growth over the past 10 years. It has two key areas of expertise: The company provides full event production down to single dry-hire equipment and it also works closely with hospitality venues across the country to provide them with permanent sound and lighting installation and support.
Sam Dimond, founder, Spotlight Sound, said: “Aurora is familiar to a lot of our clients already and will be a key point of contact specifically for reactive service and AV installation works. We are looking forward to her joining and sharing her expertise with us and we know she will thrive in helping our clients and her colleagues.”

Harrington said: “I’m really looking forward to bringing my nationwide experience in coordinating reactive and planned situations to the audio visual installation and maintenance side of the business. My strengths have always been building relationships with engineers, admin staff and site staff. I love taking on new challenges and can’t wait to become part of the team.”
Anstey will be accountable for inventory control in both hire and installation and will be the main contact for warehouse-related tasks. “Tom has been working with us in his spare time for a number of years on events, and enjoys the events industry. He now joins us full-time to further his music and event production knowledge,” commented Dimond.
Anstey commented: “It has been an amazing change becoming a full time member of the Spotlight Sound team. Over the years of freelancing with the company, I have gained a lot of experience in the event hire and production arena. I am looking forward to the opportunity to learn more, gain new skills and help to deliver spectacular events for our clients.”
