1 SOUND loudspeakers form the backbone of two complementary distributed audio installations at Madison Modern Social and its adjoining speakeasy, OLS (Our Little Secret), in Old Bridge, New Jersey.
Designed and integrated by Global AV Group in partnership with B|R Hospitality, the systems are tailored to support two distinct environments – from refined daytime dining and evening live entertainment at Madison Modern Social to the more intimate, late-night atmosphere of OLS.
At Madison Modern Social, the audio system was designed to accommodate the venue’s transition from daytime dining to evenings featuring live jazz, DJs and a nightlife atmosphere, while maintaining consistent, balanced sound throughout the restaurant.
Global AV Group deployed 1 SOUND Cannon C8 loudspeakers throughout the venue, paired with SUB310 subwoofers to provide the low-frequency output required for evening entertainment without compromising clarity during daytime service. The distributed system provides consistent coverage across each dining room, creating a uniform sonic character regardless of where guests are seated.
Following the restaurant’s opening, B|R Hospitality expanded the concept with OLS (Our Little Secret), a speakeasy accessible through a concealed entrance beside Madison Modern Social and designed by Celano Design Studio. For the new venue, Global AV Group again turned to 1 SOUND, combining Contour CT28 loudspeakers with custom-finished Cannon C8 loudspeakers and SUB310 subwoofers.
The Cannon C8 cabinets were finished through the 1 SOUND Custom Shop to complement OLS’s interior design, allowing the audio system to integrate seamlessly with the lounge’s aesthetic.
1 SOUND says that together, the two installations create a cohesive distributed audio concept spanning both venues – from upscale dining and live entertainment at Madison Modern Social to the exclusive, late-night experience of OLS. Across both spaces, the combination of Cannon C8, Contour CT28 and SUB310 loudspeakers provides the coverage, clarity and low-frequency performance needed to support each venue’s distinct atmosphere while maintaining a consistent approach to sound throughout the overall hospitality concept.
