Snelling doubles sales and new business team

Design and integration specialist announces a number of new appointments and internal moves as part of sales and business development team expansion and company-wide restructure.

Snelling Business Systems has confirmed several new appointments and internal moves within the sales and business development team as part of a restructure across the company.

The integrator has focused on increasing the size of their Sales & New Business Team to effectively meet strong growth in demand for core design, integration and installation services across UK and Europe.

The primary aim of the restructuring exercise is to efficiently meet this growth in demand, and better support major new client wins across the corporate, public sector and education sectors.

Chris Liebrand, formerly at F1AV, joins as Account Manager responsible for Corporate Solutions. Having launched and managed his own successful integration business for over 10 years, Liebrand brings a wealth of experience.

F1AV will be joining forces with Snelling Business Systems, which I am convinced will immensely benefit both F1AV and Snelling’s client base,” explained Liebrand. “Snelling have impressive design-led engineering credentials and have developed professional standards and processes in audiovisual integration to perfection. Going forward I believe my commitment and experience will benefit all of our clients and am very excited to join the team.”

Tristan Boler rejoins Snelling from Ideaworks, as Account Manager responsible for Snelling’s Higher Education clients within London and the Home Counties. Boler had previously been a part of Snelling as Technical Sales Executive and later as Project Manager.

“After nearly five years away, I’m excited to be back at Snellings and this is an opportunity I could not turn down,” said Boler. “Proactively looking after university clients and being able to develop new relationships is something I am really looking forward to.”

I am confident our new appointments will be instrumental in shaping strong and varied client relationships through business cycles.”

On the internal restructure, Sales Director, Steve Royans said: “Rapid growth over the last two years drew our attention to the need for restructuring our internal processes and resources. These changes will enhance the efficiency and agility of the sales and business development unit within our business to meet the growing demand for our services, whilst mitigating risk.

“We’ve added new members and redesigned our structure primarily to develop our UK & European sales operations. This arrangement will also allow us greater focus on initiatives that add value to clients, such as process and technology innovation, R&D, enhance our award winning in-house design capabilities, as well as focus on expansion into new regions.

“We have also taken steps to fully integrate Marketing & PR (as in-house function) with sales & business development because we recognise the importance of brand building and will continue to invest in our brand, which already commands a formidable position in the market.”

Over the coming months, Snelling Business Systems will start further recruitment, especially for junior and specialist staff, who will support the growing sales and business development department.
