NEC adds former Tripleplay  and Barco managers to bolster UK sales team

Experienced AV professionals Adele Thornton and Stephen Wair, who spent 15 years at Barco, take up channel account manager and end user account manager roles

NEC has bolstered its UK sales team with the appointment of two experienced senior personnel.

Joining the channel sales team is Adele Thornton, who brings 18 years’ industry experience in professional AV, videoconferencing, IP based technologies and collaborative solutions. 

Already familiar with NEC and its product portfolio, Adele’s previous role at Tripleplay saw her working closely with NEC on numerous projects. In her new position as channel account manager covering the north of England, Adele will manage and develop NEC’s channel business across its LED, LFD, projection and collaboration product ranges.

Joining Adele, with special focus on Transportation, Energy, MOD and Public Sector, is Stephen Wair joins NEC’s corporate sales team as end user account manager. This dedicated role reinforces NEC’s position as a provider of Total Display Solutions with specialist expertise in vertical sector deployments. With a very strong technical background Stephen brings a wealth of experience in complex control room environments, having previous pent 15 years at Barco as BDM and before that, two years as UK broadcast manager with Panasonic.
