d&b group has appointed Dr Thilo Ittner as chief technology & operations officer, effective January 1, 2026. In the role, Ittner will oversee technology, product management, R&D and operations, shaping the company’s long-term roadmap.
His remit includes advancing innovation fields such as loudspeaker designs, immersive audio, AI-based solutions, enhanced networking and cloud-enabled platforms, as well as optimising d&b’s operations and product delivery.
Ittner joins d&b with executive experience in technology-driven industries. Most recently, he served as managing director and CTO at elobau, where he led technology, operations and strategy. Earlier in his career, he held senior technology leadership roles at Voith, overseeing product strategy and new product launches. He also brings strategy and design experience from McKinsey, where he specialised in product development improvement and lean manufacturing for the automotive and assembly sector.
