AV technology supplier buk Solutions strengthens team

buk Solutions (formerly Brähler ICS UK), has expanded its team of technicians on the back of a period of growth and a successful rebrand.

AV technology provider, buk Solutions (formerly Brähler ICS UK), has expanded its team of technicians on the back of a period of growth and a successful rebrand.

The Cambridge-based company has invested in its infrastructure, continuing to grow and enhance its offering to customers, and has added Nick Heidrick and Jack Fovargue to its team of conference technicians.

Heidrick, originally from Arizona, US, has come to England to pursue a career in the events industry. He is a recent graduate of Anglia Ruskin University, Cambridge, with a BSc (Hons) in audio music technology and will be working across buk’s live events worldwide.

Fovargue joins buk with a strong knowledge base in audio engineering, technology and music production.

Steve Hunt, Operations Manager at buk Solutions, said: “Nick and Jack both have a bright future in the AV industry and we’re really pleased to have them join the team. They will be able to develop their technical and on-site event management skills in their new roles and will be getting involved straight away with the wide variety of events that buk solutions provide to our clients.”

buk have also recognised the achievements of their existing personnel with a number of staff promotions.

Dan Clare and Kyle Schamel have been promoted to project managers as a result of their extensive experience. Clare has travelled the world delivering successful events for buk Solutions, having worked on projects for the likes of NATO, FIFA, and the UK Government.

Meanwhile, Schamel is a dedicated AV professional, having also supported many live events in the UK and overseas for many government and international organisations.

buk’s specialist technicians are fully conversant with the most up-to-date technologies in the AV industry with a number of staff also training towards the AVIXA accreditation. Additionally, all of buk’s technicians hold the Electrotechnical Certification Scheme (ECS) card.
