Sales director, Jamie McKay, will take up the role of marketing director, alongside his current sales role, at residential AV manufacturer/distributor

Leading audio manufacturer and distributor, Armour Home Electronics Ltd, has announced that sales director, Jamie McKay, will take up the role of marketing director, alongside his current sales role. This key leadership appointment will see Jamie drive the international sales and marketing strategy for own brands Q Acoustics, QED and Goldring and build on an already successful sales tenure at Armour Home at director level.

McKay brings more than 25 years’ experience in global commercial, sales and marketing roles within audio and technology industries. As director of sales Asia Pacific for D&M Group, and before that, global business team leader for Denon headphones, he successfully oversaw multi-million-dollar sales and marketing campaigns across multiple international territories. His proven track record and wealth of expertise will be instrumental in developing and activating effective sales and marketing initiatives to grow Armour Home brands’ global presence and market share.

“I am honoured and excited to take up the position of sales and marketing director,” said McKay. “The brands within our portfolio at Armour Home Electronics all hold a unique position in the market and the opportunity to align a comprehensive commercial strategy for the whole business is a challenge I am looking forward to.”

George Dexter, managing director, Armour Home Electronics Ltd added: “Since taking over as sales director last year, Jamie has proven to be a key member of the senior management team and with his extensive experience in both sales and marketing within the hi-fi industry and the energy that he brings to the business, I have no doubt that Jamie will lift our marketing to the next level.”
