Waterfall Audio’s new home theatre in-wall speaker series

Waterfall Audio is a residential loudspeaker developer known for its work with glass build speakers. The new in-wall range from the company uses a wooden make-up and is designed primarily for integration with acoustically transparent cinema screens in luxury residential home theatres.

Waterfall Audio will take its new Professional Custom Series to ISE 2014. The new line comprises the LCR 300 In-Wall Loudspeaker and the In-Wall Subwoofer 600, which incorporate drivers from French partner Atohm.

The wooden build speakers break the Waterfall mould, which traditionally focuses on glass build loudspeakers. The new models are designed for integration with acoustically transparent cinema screens in luxury residential home theatres as well as for other in-wall loudspeaker requirements.

Both devices are designed for rooms 25m2 – 80m2 (270sqft2 – 870sqft2) in size depending on the type of amplifier. Each has a maximum depth of 21cm (8.27in).

Optimum output is achieved by combining the two devices but systems can also be created by combining the LCR’s with HP3 IP subwoofers or either of the devices with other products from the company including the Surround 150 Subwoofer and Hurricane Evo models.

Optional accoustical fabric grill’s are available for instances where the speakers aren’t used behind the cinema screen.
