Tiny pixel pitch scales The Wall

Samsung’s latest version of The Wall boasts the slimmest ever pixel pitch in the line-up at a mere 0.63mm. The IWB models are also available in an 0.94 pixel pitch.

All three new models also use Micro LED technology. “We see the adoption of Micro LED in various verticals really taking off, whether boardrooms, control rooms or broadcast studios, where they are looking for the highest quality,” said Ben Holmes, marketing director, Samsung Displays Europe.

There will also be 3D versions of The Wall coming soon, as it is perfect for applications such as immersive automotive design. The Wall’s 120Hz frame rate and very wide dynamic range means “it has the bandwidth needed for demanding applications,” he added.

The 2,000 nit screens come in 55in cabinets, bigger than Samsung has previously offered for LEDs, “which means faster, easier installation.” The modular systems offer 4K in a 110in four-cabinet set-up and 8K in the 220in version shown at ISE. Their high resolution is enhanced by a powerful Micro AI Processor, which analyses every second of content and optimises picture quality while removing noise.

Also new is The Wall All-in-One (model IAB) in 4K 146in, 2K 146in and 2K 110in versions designed for convenient installation Pre-Assembled Frame Kit.
