At ISE 2020, NEC will be showcasing its recently launched NEC MediaPlayer software; an intuitive plug and play digital signage solution which, according to the company, is easy to install and customise. Users can effortlessly facilitate stunning signage creation pleasing all needs of retail, quick service restaurants, real-time information and corporate environments.
This modular SoC NEC MediaPlayer comes preinstalled on the NEC Raspberry Pi Compute module to integrate or retrofit swiftly inside any NEC display that offers the Raspberry Pi slot. The NEC MultiSync V Series-MPi3 already combines the preinstalled MediaPlayer with sleek professional digital display technology. This ensures full flexibility during project design and deployment. The MediaPlayer itself allows smooth, remote operation of set-ups with individual as well as multiple screens. Browser-based playlist and content distribution as well centralised device management are included.
Customers will benefit from gapless playback, broad media format support including integration of web content. A visual timeline helps for scheduling and smart content management. For specific feature demands, customers can expand the MediaPlayer functionality via additional Apps or even switch to other Content Management Systems (CMS) directly from the MediaPlayer.
NEC says that with its MediaPlayer, the latest, immersive real-time visual experiences are now faster and easier to set up, showing target audiences dynamic, up-to-date information and advertising.
