Designed to satisfy the growing importance of live video production in enterprises, educational institutions and houses of worship, Magewell’s Director Mini is an all-in-one production and streaming solution.
Enabling a single operator to create visually compelling productions, the solution’s multi-input switching allows users to switch between two HDMI inputs and two USB AV inputs, as well as three simultaneous live IP sources including SRT streams, RTMP streams and NDI HX sources.
File-based media assets can be combined freely with live sources, whilst embedded audio is supported on the HDMI and USB inputs alongside a 3.5mm analogue audio input.
Incorporating an integrated 5.44in AMOLED touch screen, Director Mini also supports chromakeying for the use of virtual backgrounds. Telestration enables real-time on-screen drawing and combines with built-in scoreboard functionality to support sports productions, while PTZ camera control is also available through the touch screen.
Director Mini’s touch-screen interface is complemented by the Director Utility smartphone and tablet apps.
