Featuring top-level speakers from across the academia, supplier and user communities, Control Rooms Summit, chaired by Chris Dreyfus-Gibson of ICCRA, will debate how the continual rise of data is changing control rooms and the challenges and opportunities that come from having access to ever-more data.
The half-day event on Wednesday 1 February will also seek to address key issues for the industry, such as how to make the best use of AI and machine learning to drive useful insight to support critical decision making; how to get the right information to the right people when they need it; and how to visualise this vast amount of data in a way that doesn’t overwhelm control room staff. Speakers include Paul Bremner, principal analyst, public safety & critical communications, Omdia; and Sean Wargo, VP, market intelligence, AVIXA, who will give the market analyst’s view of control room trends. Bremner and Wargo will then be joined by Rob Moodey, EMEA business development manager, Matrox Video; and Dirk Hendrickx, chief sales officer, Weytec, to look at what’s next when it comes to data, AI and visualisation.
Jan Petter Lie, president Europe, Cyviz, will share industry examples and insight from companies that have embraced new ways of working in the control room in ‘Future-proofing the Control Room’, while Kim Rasmussen, European command & control business development manager, Samsung, will look at the need for flexible display solutions to meet the request for a constantly changing control room.
A final panel debate of the day will see Jeremy Habbeley, director of global accounts, RapidSOS; Rob Flanagan, strategic account executive, Salesforce; and Jan Petter Lie, president Europe, Cyviz, discuss the control room of the future.
