Two new derivatives of tvONE’s new C2-2000 series are being demonstrated at ISE. The family now encompasses the previously released C2-2855 Universal Scaler and two new additions: the C2-2755 Video Scaler PLUS and C2-2655 Scan Converter PLUS, both of which are making their debut in Amsterdam.
These new designs have more input/output flexibility than any other previous tvONE scaler, the company says. They can be set up and managed using a new front panel or via a computer-based control panel that is said to allow setup in less than a third of the time of the previous generation. The two new derivatives of the C2-2855 are designed to provide flexibility to the user, as the C2-2755 features the ability to up/cross convert, and the C2-2655 to down convert, so users may now purchase what they want depending on their needs.
Also on show is the Voyager USB 2.0 Fiber Optic KVM extender which enables users to extend beyond the standard 5 metre cable limit for USB peripheral devices. With the Voyager USB 2.0 Fiber Optic KVM extender, USB devices can be located up to 500 metres from the computer. The Voyager USB 2.0 Fiber Optic KVM extender comprises two individual units: the CPU Transceiver and the REMOTE Transceiver.
