Midwich UK&I’s Tech Xpo attracted record attendance when it returned to Ascot Racecourse on October 21-22, with visitor numbers increasing by 43 per cent since 2022. The event, now in its 15th year, brought together customers, manufacturer partners and specialist teams for two days of technology demonstrations and industry networking.
More than 70 exhibitors showcased products and solutions spanning professional displays, collaboration, digital signage and security. The programme focused on technologies addressing customer requirements, including improving workplace collaboration, creating visual experiences, simplifying AV management and strengthening security. Visitors could see equipment in operation and discuss potential applications directly with manufacturers.
Rachel Curson, experience and events manager at Midwich UK&I, said: “Seeing attendance grow by 43 per cent since 2022, reaching a record level in our 15th year, is a fantastic milestone. It reflects the strength of our manufacturer partnerships, and the value customers place on having the technology and expertise in one place.”
The event also provided an opportunity for integrators and end users to develop technical knowledge, explore commercial opportunities and strengthen supplier relationships. Ian Gauld, managing director at Streamtec, said the technical expertise and networking opportunities had helped the company identify opportunities, strengthen proposals and secure substantial corporate AV projects. Steve Nisbet, national B2B manager at Currys Business, also highlighted the value of seeing new technologies in action and building product knowledge.
Graeme McGuire, managing director at AV One Solutions, said: “Midwich Tech Xpo once again proved why it’s one of the standout events in the AV calendar. It’s a great opportunity to get hands-on with the latest technologies, catch up with manufacturers and partners and hear directly from the people driving innovation across our industry.”
