CDEC launches live streaming division

CDEC Live has been created in response to customer requests and the growth in hybrid and online events

AV systems integrator CDEC has announced the launch of CDEC Live, a new division specialising in live streaming. The company said the move has been driven by pandemic conditions that have forced the suspension of large-scale physical events that are now offering hybrid or online offerings, prompting it to “invest in a specialist team to provide the quality of experience necessary for a successful streamed event”.

The new division is designed “to take the mystery out of live streaming while offering solutions that enhance audience interaction, generate revenue, build brand recognition and encourage attendance at future events”, and features services covering pre-event consultation and planning, live stream testing, bandwidth solutions, registration services, recording, and reporting and analytics. The company stated that streaming is available to any platform – including all major social channels, Zoom, Teams, Skype, UStream, LiveNow and client websites – many of them simultaneously.

“This year has seen massive changes to how events are run and attended, and live streaming has played a vital role in keeping employees, customers and wider audiences engaged and informed,” said Toni Moss, managing director at CDEC Live. “To be successful virtual events must be reliable, secure and truly connect with the audience and we have the skills, knowledge and technology to make this happen.

“CDEC Live offers a complete live streaming service, offering everything from initial advice to technical support, scripting and asset creation. We have an incredibly talented team and the latest in production equipment to deliver a bespoke service that will ensure your event runs smoothly while reaching the widest possible audience.”
