VDC Trading supplies Van Damme cabling for new London nightclub

Van Damme cabling from VDC Trading has been used in the creation of a new and exclusive club in London’s West End. With two main rooms, Mason House is set across multiple floors within the vaults of the London Palladium, occupying the space formerly trading as Movida.

Run by nightclub aficionados Marc Merran, Eamonn Mulholland and Jean Philippe Kley, the club has had a complete refit, including a Funktion-One sound system.

Electrical installation at Mason House was carried out by Medway, which offers a wide range of electrical and installation services. Highly experienced at working in nightclubs, Medway has a particular expertise in state-of-the-art digital, low-energy, fibre-optic and LED lighting, providing reliable, long-life lighting installations. For Mason House, the company chose to use Van Damme Black Series Tour Grade speaker cables and Van Damme Smart Control DMX cables.

Senior contracts manager Gary Pike explained: “The club has been completely reconfigured, with the walls being bare bricks. It also has the very best of sound systems in it which obviously required the very best of cabling.” Van Damme, he added, was “an easy choice for us to make considering the quality we required for this installation.”

Like its predecessor, Mason House will allow entry exclusively through membership or an invite-only guest list. The venue will host some of the most respected DJs from across the world, pumping out an eclectic mix of genres until 7:00 in the morning.
