The outdoor system is centred around RCF’s new P Series Acustica boxes, mounted on heavy-duty S series Prolyte masts and powered by RCF Flexa series amplifiers. The indoor system pairs standard indoor Acustica C5125-W speakers with an identical playback rack.
RCF’s Greg Oliver commented: “The parade ground is situated in an elevated position overlooking the estuary at Plymouth. It is exposed to some pretty extreme weather conditions and needed a speaker that could deliver intelligible and accurate sound across the area. The installation was a challenge in itself, but Stage Electrics has come up with a strong yet unobtrusive installation that looks superb.”
In other Stage Electrics-related news, last month saw the company participate in a UK city roadshow intended to give visitors the opportunity to get hands on with a range of RCF, Edirol and RSS by Roland products, including the last-named manufacturer’s M-400 V-Mixing System. The three-date tour stopped off in Gateshead, Manchester and Walsall.
