New full-range enclosures from RCF

The compact H1315 is said to provide very high output and accurate voice and sound reproduction from a vented enclosure featuring optimised front loading. The MF driver is an RCF sealed basket design with a 3-inch voice coil loaded onto a 60° x 40° midrange horn. The driver is acoustically equalised using a “complex” RCF phase plug design.

The system is designed for bi-amp operation and is capable of producing a maximum SPL of 136dB from amplifiers up to 900 Watts AES (LF) + 400 Watt AES (MF/HF). The enclosure itself is ‘multi-trapezoidal’ in shape and offers a double coupling angle each side. Recessed handles are included for transportation and positioning together with a total of six double M10 fixing point for flown applications. Applications include, permanent installations, sound reinforcement in medium to large spaces, AV presentations, flown clusters, club systems, main PA in mid to large-size systems.

RCF has also announced a smaller model – the H1312 – which couples 12-inch LF and 8-inch MF drivers and a 1-inch exit titanium HF compression unit mounted on a 90° x 60° constant directivity horn. Also operated in bi-amped mode, the H1312 is capable of producing a max SPL of 134dB and handles 800 Watts AES (LF) + 300 Watt AES (MF/HF).
