HARMAN Professional has supplied a comprehensive audio system for Arch Hotel Bahrain’s new club venue, combining JBL loudspeakers, Crown amplification, BSS processing, and Soundcraft mixing to target what the company describes as “next-generation travellers”.
The installation at the property, in Manama, centres on 18 JBL SRX910LA line array elements supported by SRX910LA AF array frames, paired with 12 JBL SRX928S subwoofers. For smaller zones, the system includes JBL VRX932LAP loudspeakers and compact PRX912 monitors, alongside PRX918XLF subwoofers and Crown XTi 4002 amplifiers.
Signal processing is handled by Soundcraft’s Si Expression 1 console, dbx DriveRack PA2 and VENU360 processors, and a BSS BLU-100 DSP unit. The system also incorporates AKG D5S microphones for stage performance.
The hotel operator, which runs multiple properties across the region, selected HARMAN Professional products based on previous experience with the brand’s technologies. The project was delivered in partnership with local distributor Masterpiece LLC.
The installation was designed to address different acoustic zones within the property, with JBL SRX900 Series products providing coverage in the main club space, VRX models handling more intimate rooms, and PRX units managing side fill and on-stage monitoring duties.
The system design aimed to overcome architectural constraints within the hotel through the use of JBL Performance Manager and JBL Venue Synthesis software for tuning and configuration.

The installation includes real-time monitoring and DSP tuning capabilities designed to ensure consistent output from all components. HARMAN says the system has received positive feedback from guests since the venue opened.
