HAI’s Snap-Link Mobile for Android is currently undergoing final testing and will made be available in the Android Marketplace during April.

By downloading the application developed by HAI, users gain the ability to control their entire HAI home or business from an Android mobile device. The colourful hand-held interface is similar in design to HAI’s other mobile interfaces, including Snap-Link (for PCs) and Snap-Link Mobile for iPhone.

Homeowners and business managers have the ability to view event logs, real-time video surveillance, and adjust anything under HAI’s control, including lights, access control, appliances, temperatures, window coverings, audio and more.

Users have the ability to adjust programmed settings such as wake-up time and temperatures. Multiple HAI systems are able to be accessed from within the same application, perfect for second homes, business owners and property managers. Communications are secured by HAI’s AES encryption.

Complete access to the HAI Omni -or Lumina-equipped property is available in English, with additional languages to follow shortly.

“Mobile connectivity is key to energy savings, comfort and peace of mind,” said HAI president Jay McLellan. “HAI’s Windows, Android and iPhone/ iPad apps provide a variety of mobile interface options for our customers.”
