Aviom launches new multi-modular I/O system

The AllFrame is suitable for permanent installations such as theatres, schools and conference centres, as well as live touring sound applications.

Said to bring the power and flexibility of high-performance digital networking to the traditional I/O box, the AllFrame Multi-Modular I/O system is designed to eliminate several of the more expensive and labour-intensive stages of the signal chain while reducing cable clutter.

It obviates the need for soldering, terminating and testing large numbers of analogue connections, installing conduits and pulling separate cables for each audio signal.

Requiring a single Cat5e or fibre connection and DC power (which can also be supplied via Cat5e cable), the AllFrame Multi-Modular I/O system incorporates the F6 Modular I/O frame – a multipurpose network frame with six field-configurable I/O card slots plus integrated Cat5e and fibre optic connectivity. Like its analogue counterparts, the F6 can be housed in a NEMA Type 1 enclosure and either surface-mounted or flush-mounted and dressed with a custom flange.

With AllFrame’s RK6 Rack Kit or SK6 Stage Kit, the F6 frame may also be mounted in a standard rack or placed directly on stage.
