TOA Corporation of Japan has issued a statement regarding the transfer of Trantec-branded goods and accessories from UK-based BBM Electronics Group to sister company TOA Corporation (UK).

TOA Corporation of Japan has issued a statement regarding the transfer of Trantec-branded goods and accessories from UK-based BBM Electronics Group to sister company TOA Corporation (UK). According to the statement, TOA Corporation of Japan – the Japanese HQ of TOA Europe – expects the transfer of Trantec sales and service to be completed by 31 May, with TOA Corporation (UK) taking over the functions for UK and European countries from 1 June.

Brett Downing (pictured at Prolight+Sound 2010), sales & marketing manager at TOA Europe, commented: “We’re building on the existing success that the range has already had in the market and managing it under one umbrella. Customers will be very pleased to know that they will continue to receive outstanding support and advice on the range of Trantec wireless products.”

TOA Europe reports that it has experienced substantial growth over the past year and, in addition to offices in Germany and the UK, the company has opened a new Russian office in Moscow and four offices in South Africa.

Meanwhile, TOA Europe made a number of product launches at last week’s Prolight + Sound exhibition in Frankfurt. Alongside a range of EN-54 European standard fire alarm audio products, including the VM-3000 Series PA/VA system and PC-1867 FC 12cm flush ceiling mounted speakers, the company showed its D-2000 all-in-one digital mixing system and the Type C line array, which is based on TOA’s phase wavefront control technology.
