AVIXA approves Modulo Pi media server training

Based in Paris, France, the media server manufacturer now offers 17.5 renewal units across CTS and CTS-I qualifications for its advanced Modulo Player certification course

Media server developer Modulo Pi has been named an official AVIXA Certified Technology Specialist (CTS) Renewal Unit (RU) provider, enabling certified pro AV engineers to earn credits toward their professional qualifications.

Professionals who complete the five-day Modulo Player Certification – Advanced Level training course receive 17.5 renewal units toward CTS and CTS-I credential renewals. The accreditation applies to both the continuous five-day delivery format and the modular syllabus split across two-day and three-day components.

Conducted as instructor-led sessions combining theoretical instruction with practical laboratory work, the curriculum instructs engineers on project configuration, system routing and troubleshooting for the Modulo Player media server platform.

The coursework covers multi-screen output management, media asset handling, timeline and playlist programming, projection mapping calibration, show control integration, and operation of the embedded live mixer.

For pro AV practitioners in North America, the certified training sessions are delivered directly by Modulo Pi’s regional distributor, MayCo.

Mathieu Hery, technical content and training lead at Modulo Pi, said: “Our goal is to provide practical, hands-on training that directly reflects real-world use cases. This AVIXA recognition confirms the value and relevance of our approach, while giving AV operators a concrete way to maintain their certifications as they develop practical expertise with Modulo Player.”
