Sony Professional delivers on its ‘Year of Display Innovations’ vision at ISE 2013

Sony Professional will be returning to ISE 2013, presenting a range of innovative solutions that are shaping the future of the AV industry and demonstrating how it has delivered on its ‘Year of Display Innovations’ vision since the event last year.

At ISE 2012, Sony outlined its vision to lead the way in display technologies and the future of AV and it’s proud to say that releasing over 25 new display products in 2012 has helped it achieve this. Sony has also paved the way in display innovation with the release of its BRAVIA 4K TV for professional audiences. The products on display at the show will exemplify how Sony has unified different products from across its portfolio in AV media not traditionally offered to the ISE audience in the past. By combining its extensive knowledge in AV media and displays, Sony will introduce a corporate live meeting solution that will enable businesses to capture events live and then distribute the content out to distant audiences. For the education market, Sony will be showcasing its classroom capture technology together with its new interactive ultra-short throw projectors. Together these enable both teachers and students to create and have access to even more content outside of the classroom. There is also the opportunity to experience the new DWZ digital wireless audio system. Perfect for all presentations it boasts unique features such as an intelligent feedback reducer and AES encryption for secure transmissions. In the retail space, Sony will be showcasing its new BRAVIA HTML5 digital signage solution. This will give retailers the power to create their own bespoke HTML content for their digital signage and turn one display into multiple eye-catching screens via a network. Finally, there will also be Sony’s award winning home projection solutions, which are leading the way for 4K entertainment through the BRAVIA 84” TV and the VPL-VW1000ES home cinema projector. Adam Fry, Head of Product and Volume at Sony Europe, notes: “Last year we set out with a strong vision for the AV market focussing on how Sony could be a key player. This year we didn’t just continue with that vision, but went above and beyond it, combining our different strengths and broad knowledge to provide solutions for the education, corporate signage, retail and home cinema markets. We have progressed from shaping the future of AV to delivering it.” Sony will be exhibiting at ISE 2013, stand 1-H100. For more information, please visit: www.pro.sony.eu/ise
