Halo Audio Visual selects Sony pro displays for office revamp

Integration company selects six SonyBravia BZ40 displays for installation project at Assosia, a London retail research company

Halo Audio Visual, a Bournemouth-based integration company, recently selected six Sony Bravia BZ40 pro displays in an office installation project for Assosia, a London retail research company. Halo opted for a variety of different sizes to suit each space and usage throughout the office.

Halo specified 65” displays in the entrance hall, small meeting room and two in the medium meeting room. In the boardroom, a 75” display is designed to provide a central focus point, while the 85”display in the communal area will communicate company news and facilitate team collaboration.

The Sony Bravia BZ40 Series is a 4K Ultra HD HDR professional display with superior brightness and contrast up to 850 nits. It boasts 4K X-Reality PRO and TRILUMINOS Display, as well as an X-Motion Clarity feature designed for “natural reproduction of rapidly moving on-screen images”.

This display is intended for high-quality video conferencing and presentations. It can be switched from landscape to portrait and built-in support for HTML5, along with AirPlay2 and Chromecast, enables content to be shared wirelessly.

For the install, Halo sourced six Sanus LL11B2 flush brackets from AWE. The slim design allows each display to sit just 1.4cm from the wall. Meanwhile, Sanus ProSet features mean that Halo Audio Visual could easily adjust the positioning of the display once installed.

A Denon AVRX2800H, 7.2 channel AVR in the recreation room, supports up to 8K Ultra HD and 3D Audio when presenting, or video conferencing. With HEOS built-in, it can wirelessly stream online music to create workspace ambience.

Halo Audio specialises in residential integration and a commercial project was a new challenge. But the client had previously worked with Halo Audio Visual on a luxury home cinema project. The whole office was being renovated, so the technology had to fit the new office design.

“We worked closely with the client to decide on the best route to get them the quality, design and practicality they desired,” said Keith Harris, MD, Halo Audio Visual.
