ONELAN wins export award

Digital signage manufacturer ONELAN's achievement in generating 44% of its sales outside the UK has been recognised with a prestigious Queen's Award for Enterprise.

ONELAN Digital Signage has won a Queen’s Award for Enterprise: International Trade.

The award was given for achievement in overseas sales growth. ONELAN increased its exports over the last three years by 295%, with export sales now representing 44% of the company’s sales turnover.

“We are of course delighted to receive a second Queen’s Award,” said David Dalzell, ONELAN’s managing director (pictured). “We have recognised that our product is international and we have put great effort into promoting it overseas. Success comes sometimes from unlikely territories, but overall the international response has been very pleasing.”

ONELAN develops network appliances for standalone and end-to-end digital signage network solutions. The Net-Top-Box is a mul¬ti-media, multi-zoned Linux-based solution capable of touch interactivity. With a browser-based user inter¬face, the system is fully multi-lingual and capable of dis¬playing both stored media and live media such as RSS feeds, web pages and broadcast TV or locally streamed video. Further mem¬bers of the product family cater for enterprise network management and integration with external data sources.

ONELAN’s NTBs are now installed in a wide variety of organisations such as retail, schools, hospitals, and government buildings, as well as high profile companies such as Vodafone, Virgin Holidays and PricewaterhouseCoopers.
