New products revealed for PLASA Focus: Leeds 2012

PLASA Focus: Leeds 2012 opens its doors at 10am Tuesday 17 April, with a range of new products and UK firsts set to be on show at the Royal Armouries venue.

Exhibitors attending PLASA Focus: Leeds 2012 – which commences next week, 17-18 April – have unveiled details of new products to feature at the show.

In addition, the Professional Development Programme is now set to include ETC’s regional manager Mark White and marketing manager Erik Larsen presenting a seminar entitled ‘Dicussing the implications of introducing LED light sources into theatrical lighting design’.

On the show floor, entertainment lighting specialist White Light’s stand will showcase new lighting solutions from i-Pix and Core Lighting, including the Satellite Mk II and the Point30, respectively. Also on the stand will be Prism Projection’s RevEAL Profile – an LED profile spot with high lumen output – and Interactive Technologies’ CueServer Family of advanced lighting playback devices. At Ambersphere’s exhibition stand will be a range of new products from MA Lighting and Clay Paky, including the latter’s GlowUp and Alpha Spot QWO 800.

As part of its new Installed Sound Division, FBT Audio will feature its Vertus digital steerable line array and multimedia automation system. Meanwhile, Stage Electrics will be showing an array of audio products from EM Acoustics, as well as DiGiCo’s SD11 console, Pulsar’s latest model LED Chroma Flood 200, and a variety of Chauvet lighting. Midas will showcase its new Generation-II Software and the new XL48 ‘digi-log’ mic preamp, while Studiospares will give visitors the opportunity to experience its new M1000 42mm neodymium closed-back studio headphones. Furthermore, Traction Sound and its distributor RWS Prosound will present Traction’s SDS Range of loudspeakers, which feature SDS Horn Technology (stand S-C19).

“The combination of the Professional Development Programme which profiles both using products effectively and exploring areas of special interest through seminar and discussion, together with the dozens of new products for people to get their hands on, are guaranteed to make this a show that cannot be missed!,” said PLASA Focus events manager Sophie Atkinson.
