New military racks from SKB

SKB is showing its new 3RR Removable Rack series: slide-out shock racks, available in seven sizes, ranging from 3U to 14U, specifically designed for the military and industrial markets. The 3RR series features a new ‘positive lock’ inner frame latch (patent pending), which the manufacturer claims will provide improved shock and vibration isolation versus competitor products. All MIL-STD 810G testing has now been completed. The standard 3RR case features a 2in deep front lid, 5in deep rear lid with wheels, lid hangers, a slide-out inner rack, PRV, coupling straps, stainless steel hardware, and eight comfort grip spring-loaded handles. Although the cases will come in black as standard, they will also be available in desert tan and OD green on special order. At ISE, SKB is also presenting a new-look version of its 3i-2011-7 ‘airline carry-on’ case, which now features a wide-grip ‘easy balance’ front-lift handle, as well as stainless-steel padlock hole protectors. The case also boasts the manufacturer’s new style updated latches, which means it can now accept TSA-accepted key locks. The restyled 3i-2011-7 cases are now shipping. www.skbcases.com
