Cambridge based conference technology provider marks 30th anniversary with rebrand

Global provider Brähler ICS UK, has re-branded as BUK as it enters new phase of providing conferencing and event technology to the market

Cambridge-based conference technology provider, Brähler ICS UK, has re-branded as BUK Solutions as it celebrates its 30 year of trading.

Buk Solutions (formerly Brähler ICS UK) is one of the UK’s leading companies in providing technology based solutions for permanent installations, conferences, events, meetings and related applications.

The firm works across a wide range of public and private sectors delivering worldwide off-the-shelf and bespoke solutions, offering a range of products for rental or purchase together with system design and integration, consultancy, and complementary services.

The change comes as BUK Solutions enters a new phase, which incorporates new distribution partnerships, and the ability to rent and sell products from a more diverse range of suppliers. The firm is also offering enhanced complementary event services as part of its rental portfolio including consultancy, interpretation and translation.

Next generation hardware such as state-of-the-art multi-media microphones, language interpretation systems, voting keypads and audio-visual equipment sourced from market-leading brands are available through the company.

MD of BUK Solutions, Simon Sainsbury (pictured) said: “The success of our expanded portfolio, which now includes several new non-Brahler products and services, prompted us to redefine our identity in the marketplace and spread the word of our expanded capability in delivering custom solutions for the events and conferences market. With a wide range of event experience,, BUK Solutions delivers both in the UK and internationally.”

BUK Solutions has successfully provided audio-visual technology for numerous major events, including NATO UN and G20 summits, London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games, global product launches for a range of sector clients such as automotive and pharmaceutical, and major sporting event press conferences.

Sainsbury added: “It felt appropriate to launch our new name and logo in our 30 year, giving us the opportunity to celebrate our heritage and achievements. Naturally, we will continue to provide the first-rate services that our clients have come to expect from our dedicated team of professionals.”

Launched in the late 1980s, the company operated alongside German parent company Brähler ICS Konferenztechnik AG until 2012. It then became an independent firm, remaining as a member of the global Brähler ICS Network until now.
