Landmark system sale for KLOTZ DIGITAL

Explaining the name change, Fibre Optic Systems (FOS) sales director Gordon Addison told II: “The original reason for the brand name change was to differentiate the LED range from the ‘Fibre Optics’ company name. We branded the range DIVA, which translates as ‘Eternal Flame’ in Indian, due to the extremely long life and reliability of the LED product.”

Recent installation locations for the DIVA range include Leeds’ Alea Casino. The equipment was supplied by Lite Task, while the design specification and installation was executed by Cannock Electrical. The DIVA products are being used to highlight a variety of features across four floors, including a larger-than-life mosaic peacock feather and a porcelain sculpture.

Cannock’s Lee Garbutt recalled that Addison “promised me all the materials within the timescale I needed – bearing in mind it was an _80,000 order for equipment and I needed it very quickly for the last minute change from cold cathode lighting to LED – and FOS delivered. We worked together on the design details from that point on, and now any work with LED I just go straight to Fibre Optic Systems and use DIVA.”
