The new Z8t UHD Video Processor from Colorlight is a professional display controller offering colour calibration and intuitive videowall patching. The modular system supports various input cards, including ST2110 for IP raw media transmission.
It features independent tuning of the hue, saturation and value of a specific colour without affecting the display of others. Users can also set response curves for red, green, blue and white to, for example, prevent overexposure at high brightness or ensure vivid details at low grayscale. The Z8t can also implement 3D LUTs, for precise control over the full 3D colour space.
The Z8t includes advanced monitoring that checks inputs, temperature, humidity, network cable errors, voltage, power supply, and fan performance, for 24-hour unattended operation.
It has 10G optical fibre capability for uncompressed signal transmission over long distances and can be fitted with 5G cards for end-to-end 5G bandwidth transmission. For virtual production it includes Shutterlock to adjust the screen refresh to precisely match the camera’s shutter speed, frame multiplexing, one-frame latency, high frame rates, and HDR.
